The ocean floor

For I long for the ocean
I long for the sea
I long to be myself
I long to be me
For I long for the ocean and sea
I long to be myself
I long to be free
And as you can see
The ocean floor calls to me
Beneath the waves, a world does lie
A mystery hidden from the human eye
Where creatures roam in shades of green blue
And secrets wait to be discovered anew
The ocean floor, a kingdom vast
Where coral castles rise up from the past
The pebbled mosaic; although, I can barely Say it is so beautiful.....breathtakingly full
Of wonder and harmonius delights
And schools of fish dance in the tide
As seaweed sways, a graceful bride
With every stroke, I feel the call
To venture deeper, to explore it all
For down below, where the light grows dim
Lies a realm of wonder, a world within
The sand, like velvet, squishes underfoot
As I glide along, with the grace of a mermaid's fin then foot
Anemones, like jewels, adorn the ground
And clams hide pearls, waiting to be found
But danger lurks in this stylish sea
For even here, there's no place to flee
From sharks that prowl and jellyfish sting
A reminder that beneath the beauty, danger can bring
But I am bold, a fearless explorer
With every dive, I grow bolder
For the ocean floor, it calls to me
A place of wonder, where I can be free
So I'll swim to the ocean floor
And feel the throb, forevermore
For in this world, so vast and true
I'll find myself, in shades of greenish blue.
The water is a healing thing.
But I find my self of jealousy, sorrow and envy
I want to feel the throb forever more
I want to sink to the ocean floor.
