The pearly gates

I decided to care less about myself and care 

More for others and their well being. And in doing so I have freed myself of the burdens that usually consume me. I can't tell you of the countless ways I have bettered myself.

And now I let go of my selfish ways. I turn to Jesus Christ. And the Holy Mother of God.

And I'm triumphantly saying, "God have mercy upon me. And you will be rejoicing at my name at the pearly gates." This isn't the first time I contemplated my mortality. But the first time I rest and do in His name.
