That attitude

Everyone is searching to stop time.

Or looking to rewind time. Or turn themselves into how they see themselves. As this occurs I only ask I make to a good day. A good week. A good month. A good year. Because I can not stop another wrinkle from forming in my good judgement. I'd rather have the time to see them coming and have them than erasing them away. We live for few hours everyday. And work the rest. We eat for few minutes rather than savor. We pour wine into a glass and never finish it it because we get too drunk to let the notes linger on the pallet. So I say enjoy this time. Because one day will come where someone will say, "You're too old." And I'd rather reply you are not old enough for me,  for this, or that attitude.
