Here is a new year!

Here is a new day!

I promise I'll make it;

For here is a new day!

Here is a new year all along it's been here,

For a short time; I will make it! 

Good tidings and cheer;

I will no longer be worried and I will be wise,

I will no longer rest I will give up my crying,

Only broken hearts go thru difficulty

And misery is company

While we cozy next to the fire

I will not allow myself to break

I have a lot to ultimately say

Here is where broken hearts go to cry

Here is where emptiness fill me inside

But haven't I lost my pride

And my way

I remind myself I must continue

And say:

Here is a new year!

Here is a new day!

I promise I'll make it;

For here is a new day!

You only know what see

You barely reveal your soul

Or wear your heart on your sleeve

Here is a new year-
