(Fact or fiction) Quote for the Ages

"We live in a world....
where the funeral is more important than the dead. The marriage is more important than love. Appearance is more important than mind. With bells and whistles and bows on boxes and no regard for content,
Or character or humility and faith.
Listen we all have our own moral code, but there was a time we knew right from wrong. Sure, where we naughty? Damn right! But, we knew all along that our shining star would return us to the lost and found. And we have been found. The problem is now everyone has an opinion.
Everyone is a model. Church has become a fashion show or a mall like setting. And everyone thinks they're profound. And it doesn't end there. Now art is commerce. And people are not even artists anymore they are a brand. I have nothing against success. But everything is all too commercial. No content. Junk food.
A page after the Value Pak.
Has their face on it. It came in the mail.
I threw it away. The world is becoming more throw away. Just my thoughts.
But I suppose it is now we need more substantial more consequential works and ofcourse devout faith. Because we can not trust what we see any longer. It's the Omnipresent and Elusive God everyone wants to be. And no time to study his word and law. No time for his only Son. Instead of throwing away the world which is our present to nuture -to enjoy. Let's hold on one day longer." ~ P.G.K.
