You were too good to be true-

Couldn't take my eyes off of you

You were playing games as well

I switched the game upon you-

I should have known all too well-

I couldn't tell the truth from lies-

That's what happens with these guys-

Why? Oh why? Must I cry another time!?!

You tried to play a game with my mind-

We were friends & we were spending time-

I was fine for a dinner date- some laughs-

And a glass of wine- We spent quite some time on a shot or two or three-

I was fine for the motel- 

I didn't mind I wasn't going to a hotel-

You drove me home at 3 and ditched me-

After saying I love you- why me!?!

I should have asked you-

Only for you to get married and have kids-

All the while when I was pineing for you-

You could have done something-

To give me a clue-

You were heaven to touch-

I want to hold you so much-

And you were too good to be true-

Now there's a void I can not fill-

And now I'm on little bitter sweet jelly pills-

And I can't hold you like I'd want to-

I guess that is life-

I'm so blue-

Now, that I still want you! 

I guess this is my life-

Sorrow and heartache-

Aching and pain-

I'm sending out smoke signals-

I'm burning up for you!

We never took a picture-

I guess that is my life! 

That is life!

I'm hung up on you!

Can't get over you!

What am I to do?

I guess that is life!

It's a frustrating feeling-

And a complicated thing-

But I have to let go-
