Say say say

I went down the street to weep;

I had something good to eat and drink;

I sat alone and contemplated over you;

I conjugated nouns and verbs like now;

& I almost thought I suffocated somehow,

But I recovered quickly;

I went to bed & read a book to learn nicely;

And watched In The Mood For Love;

And Perfect Blue;

& I walked over to you; 

And gave you a knowing glance;

And I took a chance on you; 

I wanted to tell you the truth;

I wanted to tell you I love you;

I'm sorry if I hurt you;

I must be good;

I must be foolish;

I must be kind;

I must be stupid;

But I think of you every day;
