After all (for Chris and Pamela)

As I sit here 

And wonder

The night fall 

The stars shine

And black night strikes thunder

The rain falls so rhythmically 

On my skin

And I am within myself

As I sit here and wonder

My Pamela and Chris 

Have gotten so big

I plunder at words 

To describe

The state I'm in

I adore them so much

And stubborn baby boy so tough

His looks could really kill

Chris and Pamela are the very best

They could both kick your ass 

But they're really good kids 

One loves boxing and basketball

The other loves anything Asian

I guess she truly takes after me 

After all.....
