Dinner

I bathe in the distant river

I save some water for dinner

I add some protein and carbohydrates

I protect myself and hydrate

Soon down by the river

The pollution will settle in

I'll have nowhere to go

But to the horned bison

I am not a native

I mean I'm native but not quite like them

I have nothing for dinner

You're concerned with games

And if you'll be a winner

While people are starving

And have nothing for dinner
