To tell a good joke 

One must make an observation or critique

To tell a good joke 

Depends on delivery

And it's listener or audience

Their heavy heart and their patience

Some think there is a kernel of truth

To every good joke

But to be honest it isn't true

For example I write

That's humourous

The fact that I call a rhyme a poem

Is a good enough joke for me 

And the fact that I have touched on 

So much

So there

I am laughing

And usually the joke is on me 

So clap your hands 

Slap your knee

The joke is just a funny 

Funny haha aha huh um ah
