Roses aren't always red

Roses are red...

Well, violets are only pretty if they come from Africa... And that is the truth...

They are blue and mauve and array of colors even white, as if you didn't know,

But you drop them in soil and not to let them grow... to merely forget them...

And that's concrete as a black marble rose.... And the thorns are smooth so you don't feel it with pain as they spike into you.. you don't consider what this marble rose had to endure and weather through time because it's black. And you're ashamed that you want to have it and be it more... Oh what this black marble rose goes through. It's beauty endures...
