An ice cube

Too cold

To the touch

You might safely assume

It made my senses awaken

It made me feel alive

And swoosh

I felt something in my head and chest

My fingers were so cold

But I never do what I am told

Now, I have to warm up my hand

And listen I must understand

I can't have something 

That isnt mine..
