Truly awake

We can't even have a conversation/

We cant discuss the degradation/

Of everything holy and what we've known/

We can't even have a celebration/

A think tank of ideas/

We must bounce back and forth/

We cant discuss the over-sensitivity/

And legitimate concerns/

Plan a recourse of actions/

And stop the internet troll wars/

Now if someone says something/

There is no debate/ 

There is no think tank/

There is no back and forth/

We are too consumed by moving forward/

That we forget our roots/

And valid things of merit and culture/

It way too late- we will suffer in this decay/

I hope we are truly awake someday/

A little tiny idea can change the whole world/ 

We must create the think tank/

And go and bounce back and forth-

Pseudo Intellectualism-

With No Curiousity-

No Divine Inspiration

And Multi- Prismatic Interpretation

Leads you to Nowhere fast

And you're still on your phone

Complaining...

Selfish and shellfish

And lobster dinner for two

Big screen TV and a family of two

Three dogs and one car garage

And pick up and a rifle

And a gold chain

While you rifle

Through everyone's business

And here comes a soggy dish rag 

Of lady that says it's bad for you....

You can't have everything your way....

I hope we let go of this discourse

And are truly awake someday
