To Love

To love is to be daring

And to care for someone

More than yourself

I owe many things to many men

Even to women that taught me about life

And my family that taught me to sacrifice

And work hard and let go of inner demons

Rifling through my life and decisions

And that haunted me from the beginning

Of my time here on earth

That is to love 

To let go of control

To let the impossible happen

And being content and satisfied

With all that you know about the person 

Or persons 

That nothing is perfect

But it's blissful and joyful and peaceful

And sometimes tumultuous

To love is to thrive in these conditions

And still be harmonious with your choice

And to be proud of your loved one 

Even when you have another choice
