Come as you are 

To me with indifference or certainty

Come and laugh out loud at me

And judge me

I've been bold 

Please forgive me

I've outgrown this

I'm way too old

Once I was told I'd have to let go

I lit a candle in the dark

I have been sparking fires

I remained still and quiet

Even during prayer

I say this hoping 

You will take me with you to paradise

It would be nice to be away from here

I will welcome you with arms wide open

I will shelter you for I know

You have had your heart broken

And I regret my choices

Take me to paradise

I want to be more mellow

And bask in the glow of your radiant light
