What I want most

I have grandiose notions.

I'm very limited in what I know.

I must mend mistakes and choose the right path. I will always grow.

I never amounted to very much.

I never turn my back on God's love.

So, I feel plentiful joy.

I've always felt like this,

Since I was a boy,

I have grandiose notions

And very limited progress to my goal

I will not turn back on my faith

I will not do as I'm told

I have plenty to prove and live for

And now I must go and grow 

And live and be and see the life 

That's meant for me 

Without the fodder from the ones

Consumed by misery

I do want this most 

I do want world peace

I want to live outside of me
