The Greek Dance

The Dance of Zolango,

The self- sacrifice of the Greek women;

The Greek woman is a fierce female;

They would be so brave and confident;

They would rather dance one by one;

Off a cliff of a mountain top, with nothing; But sun setting and the evening air; all up in through and in their hair; They danced and danced till there was no one left; There was no one there,

Than give their bodies and lives-

To the Ottoman Turks; They are the 

Siouliotises, and they understood their Value, and their worth. To me they are everything; They are the Greek female

And every time one dances; they all dance
