A failure as a man

 I'm surprised that I stood the test of time. 

I tried to change the world with my silly

rhymes. I tried to be so perfect and 

eloquent. I have failed so many times.

I look at the man in the mirror.

I try to change his ways. 

But it couldn't be oh so clearer.

I realize that I haven't failed.

I have failed as a man.

But I try again.

I'm closer to my breakthrough.

I try again. 

I don't feel as a failure of a man.
